If you know Joshua, you know he likes to get away from time-to-time (what can he say, he has a great boss ;-) ). Here is a list of his fave last-minute winter getaways.

LA - You’re pretty much guaranteed the sun. I love heading down to LA, because you can pack a punch in just 4 days. From the POKE restaurants on every corner, to a morning hike on Runyon, to an afternoon at the Getty Centre - Los Angeles has so much going on. Shopping highlights include vintage wear on Melrose to cute chachka finds in Venice beach. Tag on a side trip to Vegas or San Diego.

New Orleans - Because when you’re craving a white sugar covered beignet - where else would you go (Cafe du Monde latte and donut are a MUST)?! Yes, the french quarter is super touristy - but oh-so-pretty! New Orleans has an amazing restaurant scene, make sure to do your research before heading down. My faves were Commerce (breakfast), the Green Goddess (lunch), Sylvain (dinner). NOLA has some amazing antique shops in the french quarter, clothing wise - not so much.

Savannah - Weather could be a bit iffy - although let’s be honest, it will still be warmer than Montreal. I loved this town so much - I named my dog after it! You do not need more than 3 days here. From the beautiful live oak and spanish moss to stunning architecture, Savannah is basically an instagrammers heaven. Get ready for some great homewares shopping on Main street. Restaurant MUSTS are the Olde Pink House and a.Lure, followed by Leopolds for some ice cream.
