Kampai Menu

As soon as you walk into this place you'll notice there was no detail overlooked, the decor is perfect and it is full of insta-worthy moments. The cocktails (which are delicious) are served in pitchers, we tried the Dark Side Of The Moon and would definitely suggest it to a friend.

The menu is designed for sharing, there is a great selection of small plates that are sure to satisfy the most discerning clientele. If I had to rank the ones we tasted than the Braised Beef Tacos, Kampai hotdog and the Crispy raviolis were my favourites.

Kampai hotdog

The Kampai hotdog is the perfect balance of flavour and texture, the meat is rich and packed with flavour, the bun is chewy but toasted perfectly and it is topped with crispy fried deliciousness. This was the table-favourite, without a doubt.

Kampai Fried Chicken

The Fried chicken (shown above) was a great plate to share with friends, it is easy to eat and pass along a group of people with a great dipping sauce. The batter was tasty and crunchy while the chicken was cooked to perfection.

Other notable menu items: The Shrimp Tacos were delish, the Shrimp pogos got mixed reviews from our table and the Poached cod on tofu was great if you want something that isn't fried.

 What to wear to kampai

Down to business, if the food hasn't sold you than the decor should. I really do think this is a beautiful well thought out restaurant with a fun, entertaining crowd to people watch. It's a bit on the younger side, I think this is more based on location than the atmosphere, by 11:30 pm there was a line up down the block.

What to wear? If I were in your stilettos, I'd suggest something like this:
